serve用法

serve可用作及物动词和不及物动词，也可用作双宾动词和宾补动词，有服务，提供，招待等含义。用作名词时，有网球等发球，发球权等含义。它的第三人称单数是serves，现在分词是serving，过去式是served，过去分词是served。

serve的用法

1.用作不及物动词

The manager of the restaurant has trained the waitress to serve correctly at table.

饭馆的经理训练过那位女服务员如何正确地招待顾客。

The ship will sail when wind and tide serve.

船将在风向和潮水有利时启航。

2.用作及物动词

We must try to serve others.

我们应尽力为他人服务。

The shop assistant is serving a customer.

3.用作双宾动词

Could you serve us tea and coffee?你能供给我们茶和咖啡吗?

She serves the guests coffee.

她用咖啡招待客人。

He served them the soup.

4.用作宾补动词

Make sure you serve the coffee hot.

It can be served either cold or hot.
